Overview:
If you would like to share content with the DTEN D7 55" and 75" locally and to the same channel as Zoom Rooms (PC), you can do this using an HDMI to USB capture card.
Note: D7X for Windows & Android systems support direct HDMI-in sharing for BYOD so the use of capture card is not necessary. Please reference D7X specifications: HERE
Prerequisite:
You will need an HDMI to USB capture card. Please verify with DTEN Support if your capture card can be used.
Setup for the HDMI Capture USB
- Connect the HDMI cable to the sharing device's video output (your laptop)
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the capture card, and then connect the USB end of the capture device into one of the blue USB port of the DTEN D7.
- To share content to the DTEN, you have to open the Meeting settings, tap or click "Share Content or Camera", go to the Camera tab, and select the Capture Card.
- Unplug the video cable to stop screen sharing.
