Intelligent Battery Charging
Starting from DTEN Mate (WiFi) firmware version 1.12, we have implemented an intelligent battery charging feature with the following rules:
- When the battery level of DTEN Mate (Wi-Fi) is above or equal to 20% and it is connected to a power supply (either placed in the Dock or connected to the charging cable), the device will only receive power without actively charging. (E.g. If you connect your Mate with a 30% battery level to a power supply, it will not charge until the battery level drops below 20%)
- When the battery level of DTEN Mate (Wi-Fi) is below 20%, the device will start to charge once it is connected to the power supply. (E.g. If you connect your Mate with an 18% battery level to a power supply, it will start to charge the Mate fully)
This feature is designed to protect the device from overcharging while maximizing the battery's lifetime and performance.
Note: To ensure optimal battery performance, it is recommended to keep the version of your DTEN Mate (Wi-Fi) device up to date.
