Design Use Case
You're in a crucial team meeting where everyone has gathered, ready to showcase the latest project progress. You've connected your laptop to a large screen, gearing up to start the presentation.
However, just as you're about to begin, you suddenly realize an important detail needs tweaking, and your laptop is sitting on the desk, out of your fingertips. Now imagine if you could directly manipulate your laptop by touching the large screen without returning to your seat.
That's the magical experience our brand-new feature brings! When you connect your laptop to the large screen in a Zoom meeting for sharing, you're no longer tied to the keyboard and mouse. You can interact with your laptop screen in real-time on the large display as if you were working on your laptop.
It's more than just a presentation; it's an immersive interactive experience. You can edit documents, adjust designs, and even conduct real-time data analysis on the large screen, with everyone participating in discussions, driving the project forward together.
Steps
- In a Zoom meeting, insert the USB-C cable to connect your laptop.
- Once the laptop screen is projected, you can use touch controls on the large screen to navigate the laptop's content.
Note: Ensure the manual "share" switch in your Zoom portal is turned off.
Additionally, if you've annotated during the share, you need to disable annotations before use because the touch actions for annotations conflict with those for reverse control.
