Further enhancing user convenience, the Smart Connect BYOD mode auto-framing feature automatically focuses on all participants, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and ensuring everyone is included and visible. Smart Framing takes this further by dynamically adjusting the frame to present each participant clearly and equally. Setup Instruction

1. Connect your laptop and enter BYOD mode.

• Under Zoom Rooms: A pop-up window will appear on the screen, asking you to enter BYOD mode. Select "Enter BYOD" from the pop-up window.

2. Tap the floating button on the edge of the screen of D7X when in BYOD (Smart connect mode).

 

The floating button will appear on the right edge of the screen. Tapping it will open the camera control panel.

 

           

 

3. Adjust the camera's PTZ settings or enable/disable auto-framing/smart framing as needed.

• PTZ: Use the controls in the camera control panel to pan, tilt, and zoom the camera.

 

• Auto-framing: Enable auto-framing so the camera automatically adjusts the frame to keep you centered in the shot.
• Smart framing: Enable smart framing so the camera automatically adjusts the frame to keep you and other participants centered in the shot.
