Overview
DTEN’s new Lock Dashboard feature is designed to prevent unauthorized changes to device configurations after the administrator has set them. Often, users may accidentally or intentionally alter settings, leading to potential device functionality issues. The Lock Dashboard feature allows administrators to lock the device's dashboard interface through a network-enabled switch to address this. Once locked, any dashboard user will be prompted to enter a password. This ensures that only authorized personnel can make changes, maintaining the integrity of the device's settings and preventing unintended disruptions.

Designed Use Case
When an administrator has carefully configured a device for optimal performance, they want to ensure that these settings remain unchanged to avoid any potential issues caused by unauthorized alterations. Lock Dashboard addresses this need by allowing the administrator to remotely lock the device's dashboard interface. With this feature enabled, only those with the correct password can access and modify the device settings, ensuring the configuration stays intact. This helps maintain the device's reliability and prevents accidental or intentional changes that could disrupt its functionality.
