DTEN is releasing firmware updates to strengthen security for both our DTEN D7 and D5 series.
- DTEN D7 release 1.3.5 Now Available
- DTEN D5 release 1.2.3 Now Available
IMPORTANT: You may have recently read about potential vulnerabilities – that we were alerted to by a security research firm called Forescout – that impact DTEN D7 and DTEN D5 devices. The identified security issues are now fully addressed with firmware release 1.3.5 for DTEN D7 and firmware release 1.2.3 for DTEN D5, which are both available now. Each of these DTEN firmware releases also includes the latest encryption and authentication features, as well as other protections. Please complete these updates as soon as possible.
D5 Customers: Upgrade to Release 1.2.3 Now

If you have recently completed this update, please disregard this notice.
All customers with firmware prior to release 1.3.5 should upgrade by following these easy instructions:
- Sign in to the Zoom Device Management Portal (ZDM)
- Navigate to Room Management > Zoom Rooms
- Click the room set up for DTEN D7
- Click the room set up for DTEN D7
- In the Devices tab, click Upgrade for DTEN D7 release 1.3.5
DTEN D7 users must currently have version 1.3.0 or above in order to upgrade. Connect via an open network or Zoom whitelisted network; for more information, on how to do so, click here. Your DTEN device will automatically restart at the end of the update process. Do not disconnect or power off during the update.
