How to find DTEN IDs in all the DTEN Devices

 

Overview

The DTEN Device Unique Identifier (DTEN ID) is a 12 digit alphanumeric string that represents the hardware device. This ID will allow DTEN Support to uniquely identify the device and perform remote upgrades and fixes to the DTEN device.

 

This article covers how to retrieve DTEN ID numbers for the following devices:

• DTEN D7X  55/75  Windows/Android/MS Teams Editions
• DTEN D7/D7X Dual 75 Windows Edition
• DTEN D7 55 S2 & D7 75 Series
• DTEN ON 55 & ONboard
• DTEN ME & ME Pro
• DTEN GO with DTEN  MATE

 

Note:  You can also find a device’s DTEN ID and the serial number from the DTEN Orbit portal (device enrollment required). 

• In DTEN Orbit, go to Device Management —> Click on Device Name -> Device Profile -> DTEN ID.

 

 D7 55 S2, D7X 55 Windows/Android/MS Teams Editions & ON 55/ONboard 

Recommended Method - Help Button:

1. On the back of the D7 55 S2, D7X 55 Windows/Android/MS Teams and ON 55/ONboard systems, locate and press the Menu button on the back side of the display to access the DTEN Dashboard. The Menu button is directly above the Power button, as shown in the image below.

 

2. In the DTEN Dashboard, select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display. 

 

3. In the  DTEN Dashboard for D7X for MS Teams system, select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display.  

 

 

D7 75, D7X 75 Windows/Android/MS Teams Editions & D7/D7X 75 Dual Windows

Recommended Method - Help Button:

1. On the back of the D7 75, D7X 75 Windows/Android/MS Teams  & D7/D7X Dual 75 systems, locate and press the Help button on the back left side of the D7X to access the DTEN Dashboard. The Help button is directly above the Power button, as shown in the image below.

 

2. In the DTEN Dashboard, select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display. 

3. In the  DTEN Dashboard for D7X for MS Teams system, select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display.  

 

Note: For D7 devices, if you don’t see it, press 5x times for the DTEN ID Number.

 

DTEN ME & ME Pro

There are two (2) methods to access the DTEN ID on the ME & ME Pro systems.

 

Method One - Menu Button:

1. Press the Menu button(3 dashes/hamburger icon) on the rear right side of the ME & ME Pro. The Menu button is directly under the Power button.
2. Select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display. 

 

Method Two -  Using the Touch Screen

From the Zoom Room menu screen or in Monitor Mode:

1. Swipe Right or Up using the Three (3) Finger Multitouch gesture.
2. Select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display.

DTEN GO with DTEN Mate

There are two (2) methods to access the DTEN ID numbers for the DTEN GO w/ MATE.

 

Method One - Factory Labels:

1. Factory product labels can be found under each DTEN GO and DTEN Mate device. These product labels contain the model number, serial number, and MAC address, which can double as the DTEN ID number.

 

Method Two -  Using the Touch Screen on The DTEN Mate

From the Zoom Room menu screen or in Monitor Mode:

1. Tap the touch screen on the DTEN MATE and a Gear icon will appear in the lower right corner.
2. Tap on the Gear icon to access the Setting menu.
3. Scroll down and tap on the System Settings option.  If a passcode is required to proceed, please check with your IT Admin.
4. Select the Help icon at the bottom left of the On-Screen Display. 

On the Zoom Room screen, click on settings on the bottom right
