How to Update

Release sequence:
- Immediately at GA: Available on Teams Admin Center (TAC).
- 2-3 Business Days After GA: Available on Orbit.
- 7-10 Business Days After GA: Available through Zoom Device Management, Zoom dependency, and OOBE update for un-deployed devices.
- The DTEN device(s) should be powered on and connected to a stable and open or Zoom-whitelisted network without a firewall (Ethernet preferred). For information, click here.
- The update will not start if the device is engaged in a meeting or calendar event.
- The update takes approximately 30-45 minutes and will automatically restart
- Do not disconnect or power off during the update.

Device Information Display Discrepancy on Mate PoE Menu
- When a Mate PoE is upgraded to AOSP-compatible firmware and paired with a D7X Android (D7X-A), the Mate PoE's Menu Device Info page may incorrectly display the Microsoft Intune version and Microsoft Authenticator version information for the D7X Android (D7X-A).
- Quick Fix: Upgrade the D7X Android (D7X-A) to AOSP-compatible firmware to align with the Mate PoE’s updated firmware.

Teams Main Interface Displays Black Screen During DTEN Orbit Mission Control (OMC) Session
- When DTEN Orbit Mission Control (OMC) is used for remote assistance by DTEN Support, the Teams main interface may appear as a black screen on the connected remote PC. This behavior is due to a newly implemented security policy within the Microsoft Teams application.

Audio Stability Issues in Teams Meetings
- Intermittent audio issues may occur during Teams Room meetings, including unstable volume, occasional echoes, or brief audio dropouts. This condition typically resolves itself without user intervention. If the audio issues are not resolved, contact DTEN Support for review and assessment. Additionally, please ensure the D7X Android (D7X-A) is on the most current version of the Teams Room App available in the Teams Admin Centre (TAC) or Pro Management Portal (PMP).

Whiteboard Writing Responsiveness
- When using the MTRA Whiteboard, users may experience uneven or delayed stroke response, particularly in the lower section of the whiteboard. This issue will be addressed in a future MTRA App and DTEN firmware release.

MacBook Screen Sharing Black Screen in Zoom Rooms
- MacBook users may encounter a black screen when sharing content via a Type-C USB cable in a Zoom meeting. This issue is more likely to occur if the MacBook enters sleep mode during the session.
- Quick Fix: Update the MacBook operating system to the latest available version. If an update does not resolve this issue, adjust the MacBook's sleep settings.
